We will be having our usual Halloween festivities including scarecrow creations, pizza, games and a costume parade in the park (theHillsborough end of “Green Park”) this year.
We need at least a tentative headcount for the scarecrows and the pizza truck. Please let me know as soon as you can.
The scarecrow event will be on Sunday, October 30th, 2:00 PM with the rain date the following Monday. The stakes, twine and wheat straw will be provided along with any leftover clothes and accessories from last year. Please bring your own creative costumes and ideas for scarecrows! Let me know if you are coming so I can approximate the correct number of stakes to bring.
On Halloween, October 31st, we will have Klausie’s Pizza Truck offering his famous square pizza, a dessert and drinks. I strongly encourage everyone to pay a visit to Mike’s truck for dinner. We need to make sure that he meets a minimum in sales to make it worth his while. I think the food truck offers more flexibility and less work for everyone, and I’ve heard the pizza is wonderful!
